In Memory of New York Hot Dog And Coffee

It's really a shame that this place closed down, the novelty of blending quintessential Korean and New York street food was something that I found so brilliant. But I guess slapping Kimchi on a hot dog wasn't that innovative.

Me and Yuki ventured off to this Greenwich Village locale last spring after reading the hype on Serious Eats. We essentially got the same thing, a hot dog with bulgogi (thinly sliced marinated beef), but I decided to pay up the extra 51 cents to get some Kimchi ... which I later could have saved if I had known that they had free Kimchi at the condiment counter. I am such a sucker.
Yuki and I thought that the hot dogs were delicious! It was definitely getting the best of both worlds, and satisfied my multiple food cravings. But of course you can't replace a good $1 dollar NYC street hot dog or Korean BBQ.

Rest in peace New York Hot Dog And Coffee. You were tasty.
